Keeping Cool without Air Conditioning
Keeping cool in hot weather is very important. Heat stroke and dehydration are serious problems in the summer. The elderly, infirm and the very young have a greater risk of health problems associated with hot weather. It is possible to avoid over-using the air conditioner but it is very important to stay hydrated and avoid over-heating. These few tips will help us keep cool without over using the AC. Welcome to the Wimmera Mallee Sustainability Alliance
Six local governments have joined forces as the Wimmera Mallee Sustainability Alliance (WMSA) to improve sustainability in the region. These local governments are the Shires of Buloke, Hindmarsh, Northern Grampians and Yarriambiack and the Rural Cities of Ararat and Horsham. The Alliance also includes a number of local and state government authorities and educational institutions. More information.
